Consultation

Consultation with Board Certified Behavior Analysts for families in your school or in your home

Parenting and supporting a neurodiverse child isn’t always easy. Fields Center employs several Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) who can help restore peace to your home. By offering flexible and individualized supports and services, Fields Center BCBAs have a deep appreciation for the culture of your family and the goals you have for your child. Typically, services begin with parent training and skill building sessions for as little time as once per month up to once per week. Sessions with Fields Center BCBAs are your key to navigating your home life with your neurodiverse child.

Sometimes, families need support to connect to and collaborate with their neurodiverse child’s school team. From direct observations to full Functional Behavior Assessments, BCBAs can go to your child’s school and support your family and your child’s educational team in effective collaboration.

Fields Center BCBAs work in a variety of public and private schools throughout Western Massachusetts. Fields Center BCBAs currently work in the following area private schools: The Campus School at Smith College, The Greenfield Center School, Montessori School of Northampton, Eaglebrook School, The Common School and Hartsbrook School. Public school districts include: Northampton, Easthampton, Longmeadow, Deerfield, and Hampshire Regional.

Supervision

Supervision for Professionals seeking their Board Certification in Behavior Analysis

One of the primary eligibility requirements for certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA) or a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® (BCaBA) is the completion of a defined practical experience in applied behavior analysis.

The BCBA/BCaBA Experience Standards provide the necessary information for supervisors and trainees to ensure that all experience hours are compliant with the Experience Standards. Because BACB standards may change over time, supervisors and trainees are responsible for being knowledgeable about current information from the BACB website, BACB newsletters, and the online table of recent and upcoming changes to ensure that accrued experience hours will qualify at the time of application.

Fields Center offers a highly individualized and thorough approach to supervision activities through virtual, one-to-one supervision. Supervisors and supervisees enjoy a personal relationship which increases the likelihood of passing the BACB exam.
