Meet Lucas who is celebrating their third year with The Fields Center!
What first drew you to working in ABA?
“I was first drawn by the analytic aspects of ABA. I really enjoy graphing and taking data-one of my favorite things to do is go over trends and general observations with a BCBA.”
What is your favorite part of working with your clients?
“My favorite part is how much I get to laugh with clients. Whether it’s playing a game or simply chatting, I prefer to have fun when I work. ABA-and my clients particularly-have given me a fantastic chance to do that!”
What is one fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
“I LOVE to write and tell stories. I often play Dungeons & Dragons in my free time, so fantasy and sci-fi worlds really suck me in. I truly believe that by telling a good story, we can make strong connections with everyone, even a total stranger.”
What is your favorite play-based activity or game to use during sessions?
“I absolutely love doing anything outside! Basketball has been a particularly powerful game that I enjoy using during sessions. Beyond that, get a good game of Connect 4 going and I’ll be right there.”
What’s your go-to coffee order or comfort food?
“I have been hung up on a Cookie Butter Latte lately! That being said, I’ll take whatever you’ve got as long as it has caffeine.”
